The night and the stars - La notte e le stelle

The night takes possession of the words
and transforms them into thought,
survives in the dark hope
and love is expressed
in all things visible.
So come along with dreams
dawn delicate, with its colours
soft and fragrant with melancholy.
I would like these little letters
would fill the universe
to become light,
billions of stars in the immense sky,
enclosed in a single thought 
of love for you.

La notte si impossessa delle parole
e le trasforma in pensiero,
sopravvive al buio la speranza
e l'amore si concretizza

Così giunge insieme ai sogni
